Show 1 - Toni Maticevski
Although this collection is not as wearable as many of other collections, it is a stunning example of design at its finest. Delicate silk draped and twisted over sleeveless shift dresses combined with elaborate feather shoulder detailing. A collection full of black and white with splashes of fuchsia, and geometric prints. I think my favourite element of this collection is the pleated floral embellishments on several of the pieces, they are absolutely stunning and add such an interesting touch to the garments.

Show 2 - Bowie
RAFW went out with a bang this year with the final collection to show, Bowie. Obviously inspired by the east, Bowie paraded kimono like gowns in oriental prints down the catwalk. Beautifully beaded dresses were coupled with the intricate pleats found on fan inspired head pieces. To add a little colour to the collection Bowie included heels and prints in a bold red that popped against the predominately black and white colour scheme. My favourite piece from this collection would have to be the one shoulder black sequined fish tail gown with oriental print detail. Such a beautiful and sophisticated piece.
